At Covered Colorado, we believe that empowering survivors goes beyond providing shelter. Our Education Project focuses on equipping clients with essential life skills to help them thrive independently. Here are the key components of our program:

Financial Literacy: Our clients receive hands-on guidance in managing finances, budgeting, and understanding financial systems. We cover topics such as saving, credit, and making informed financial decisions.

Ready to Rent: Navigating the rental market can be challenging. We prepare our clients for successful renting by teaching them about lease agreements, tenant rights, and responsibilities. Our goal is to empower them to secure stable housing.

Nutrition and Meal Planning: Good nutrition is vital for physical and mental well-being. Through interactive sessions, clients learn about balanced diets, meal preparation, and healthy eating habits.

Organization and Time Management: Survivors often face overwhelming situations. Our program helps them develop organizational skills and effective time management strategies. From setting goals to prioritizing tasks, we support their journey toward stability.

Conflict Resolution: Healthy conflict resolution is essential for maintaining positive relationships. We provide tools and techniques to address conflicts constructively, whether in personal or professional settings.

Building Healthy Relationships: Survivors learn about boundaries, communication, and building trust. We emphasize healthy relationship dynamics and empower them to form connections based on mutual respect.

Problem Solving: Life is full of challenges. Our clients gain problem-solving skills to tackle obstacles effectively. We encourage critical thinking, resilience, and adaptability.

Annual Cost: The Education Project is an investment in survivors’ futures. The annual cost for running this program is $50,000. Your contribution directly impacts lives, enabling survivors to rebuild and thrive. Thank you for being part of our mission!
