The Colorado Women's Education Foundation (CWEF) has been championing women’s education in Colorado since 1976. Originally founded as the Colorado Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, CWEF has evolved with a focused mission: to empower non-traditional female students to achieve their higher education and economic dreams. We believe in the transformative power of education, and through scholarships tailored to women who are returning to school later in life, we help pave the way for financial independence, career advancement, and the opportunity to inspire future generations. Since our inception, CWEF has awarded over 750 scholarships, totaling nearly $1 million, to women across Colorado—each grant a stepping stone toward building stronger communities and brighter futures.
