In a society that continuously threatens people’s autonomy, we provide vital advocacy, compassionate education, and nonjudgmental support to protect the bodily sovereignty of all people, with a specific focus on abortion.
Colorado Doula Project was founded in 2015 as a grassroots, nonprofit, volunteer-based collective of abortion doulas and reproductive justice advocates. As we navigate the tumultuous waters of a post-Roe v. Wade nation, Colorado exists as a port in the storm: a safe haven for its own residents and for those brave travelers escaping restrictions in their own states to access necessary healthcare, at any point in pregnancy.
Together we envision and work towards a world where reproductive justice is not only a given but a right for all individuals and families, regardless of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class, and background.
